1. Focus group formation and coordination + Transnational Focus Groups of approximately 4 professionals from 4 partners are formed for each pilot . The TFGs jointly develop, implement and evaluate a pilot and prepare the FRAMES days for that pilot.  +
1. Impact assessment for spatial planning measures in relation to flood resilience + Impact assessment for spatial planning measures in relation to flood resilience based on exemplary projects and studies collected by the partnership.  +
1. Self-assessments community resilience + A self-assessment tool for community resilience will be applied in all pilot areas. The self-assessment will be made applicable to the regional context.  +
2
2. Decision support system + By collecting results from pilots a Decision Support System will be developed. The system will be harmonised with the NSR National Adaptation Strategies. The tool will be reviewed during FRAMES days and integrated in the Policy recommendations.  +
2. Pilot - Contingency exercises and planning + Improving and using risk and hazards maps to allow for contingency planning and exercises, with a special focus on rural and urban drainage. The improved database will be tested for improving resilience. Pilot Book attached for more detail.  +
2. Self-efficacy mobile app + Based on the self-efficacy analyses a mobile appwill be developed and tested in one of the FRAMES pilot areas, aiming at improvement of community awareness and self-efficacy inrelation to floods.  +
3
3. Pilots - Catchment management + Joint execution with stakeholders of spatial catchment-based measures within 4 catchment areas to demonstrate cross-sector benefits and increase resilience for: communities, agriculture, businesses, cultural capital (e.g. UNESCO site).  +
3. Pilots - Community resilience workshops + Jointly developed meetings with local communities to discuss key multi-layered safety issues, increase awareness of the risk of flooding and self-efficacy amongst stakeholders including private sector and flood risk managers (living lab approach).  +
3. Policy recommendations and discourse + Lessons learned from WP3 and 4 are used for policy recommendations on the governance of multilayered safety in flood prone areas. Partners initiate discourse and gather support at different levels, including political support, the NSC and the CPMR.  +
4
4. MLS resilience toolkit + Develop and collate a toolkit for improved spatial targeting of catchment based flood risk management multi-layered safety measures incorporating local catchment knowledge that is duplicate in other NSR areas.  +
4. Pilots - Applying MLS to Critical Health and Social Care Infrastructure and Service Delivery + Based on self-efficacy and spatial risk analyses, partners will initiate joint qualitative assessments, trial risk management measures and develop transferable training, processes and strategies to build resilience into the social/care system.  +
4. Pilots - Vital infrastructure + Assessing the impact of floods in flood prone areas where infrastructure is concentrated (roads/tunnels/rail) and next developing MLS spatial solutions including a flood-proof electricity grid that mitigates the effects of floods (cost) effectively.  +
5
5. Pilots – MLS concept applicability in areas without conventional flood protection + Study of how MLS can be adopted in areas without conventional flood protection together with 3 municipalities. The method of Dynamic Adaptive Policy Pathways (DAPP) is applied since it relates the different measures identified under the 3 layers.  +
5. Transnational monitoring and evaluation + Based on joint monitoring and evaluation of the resilient area pilots a report for practitioners is prepared. Practices/lessons learned concerning the MLS approach will be presented, analysed and discussed.  +
6
6. Layman report + Based on the joint monitoring and evaluation of theresilient area pilots a layman report with bestpractices will be preparedaimed at further disseminating results to the public and within the networks of stakeholders.  +
6. Pilot - Recovery after severe flooding + Review of the emergency response during a storm surge in Roskilde and how self-efficient the public was. The recovery process and challenges will be analysed. The results will be disseminated into best practices for partners to adopt and spread.  +
7
7. Transnational monitoring and evaluation + Based on joint monitoring and evaluation of the resilient communities pilots a report for practitioners is prepared. Practices/lessons learned concerning the MLS approach will be presented, analysed and discussed.  +
8
8. Layman report + Based on the joint monitoring and evaluation of the resilient area pilots a layman report with bestpractices will be prepared, aimed at further disseminating results to the public and within the networks of stakeholders.  +
