<p>Evy van der Wees: </p> <hr /> <div>The research group water technology aims at development of applicable technologies for sustainable water (re)use in a combined fresh/saline delta.<br /> <br /> Current research themes include:<br /> <br /> 1) Recycling of surface and process water for industry, agriculture and aquaculture. Examples are reuse of cooling tower blowdown, rainwater runoff and industrial wastewater.<br /> <br /> 2) Recovery of valuable content in waste water, like nutrients.<br /> <br /> 3) Monitoring and control. Examples are monitoring and control of water filtration systems and control of biofouling in water systems with ultrasound.<br /> <br /> Besides the research assignments below, there are also vacancies for internships available.
